So, I have finally finished the infamous thriller. Thrillers aren't usually my cup of tea, but I have to admit that this one was really good. I actually had to read it with all of my apartment lights on... The story line was really creepy. It also tended to be a little graphic in the description of the killer's actions.
The characters are extremely detailed and wonderful to read about (except for the mean ones - even though the descriptions were still spot on!). Most of them had great personalities.
As for the patented thriller twist, I kind of figured out who the killer was before the end. But Peter James was quite a trickster! There was a twist that was completely unexpected. For those of you who believe thrillers are a dime-a-dozen, and that you can always predict whodunit, this book is definitely for you!
Hopefully on to something a little more my speed. But this was a refreshing change in book choices!
